1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using CaterQ ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

CaterQ provides a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for catering businesses to manage events, menus, inventory, and customer orders. The Service includes:

• • Event and menu management tools
• • Real-time order processing
• • Inventory tracking
• • Payment processing integration
• • Customer feedback collection

3. Account Registration

To use CaterQ, you must:

• • Be at least 18 years old
• • Provide accurate and complete information
• • Maintain the security of your account credentials
• • Be responsible for all activity under your account

4. Subscription and Payments

4.1 Billing

• • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• • Prices are listed in Euros (EUR)
• • Belgian VAT applies (21% as of 2025)
• • Payment is processed securely via Stripe

4.2 Free Trial

New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. After the trial, you must subscribe to continue using the Service.

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• • Violate any laws or regulations
• • Infringe on intellectual property rights
• • Transmit harmful code or malware
• • Attempt to breach security measures
• • Use the Service for fraudulent purposes
• • Share your account with unauthorized users

6. Intellectual Property

CaterQ and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CaterQ and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service. You grant us a limited license to use this data solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• • Perform maintenance (with advance notice when possible)
• • Modify or discontinue features
• • Suspend accounts for Terms violations

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Belgian law:

• • CaterQ is provided "as is" without warranties
• • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months
• • We are not responsible for third-party services (Stripe, etc.)

9. Data Ownership and Backup

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data. Upon account termination, we will retain your data for 30 days before permanent deletion. You may request a data export during this period.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:

• • Violate these Terms
• • Fail to pay subscription fees
• • Engage in fraudulent activity
• • Damage our reputation or operations

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Belgium.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
